Castelith Unbound surfacing for a natural, historical appeal
France is extremely attached to its cultural heritage and history, which is why the Pepin agency in Gironde has designed a special road surfacing product called Castelith.
A high-quality, natural and fully recyclable surfacing, Castelith preserves the visual appearance of the white dirt roads of yesteryear using natural, unbound stones, while guaranteeing the durability of conventional road pavement (traffic, weather, etc.).
Many world renowned vineyards in the area (Château Margaux, Château Cheval Blanc, Château Yquem, etc.) have already used Castelith, which has been designed with great expertise to provide a one-of-a-kind finish in terms of elegance and color.
Castelith consists of crushed 0/20 or 0/31.5 limestone, treated with a special hydraulic road binder. Castelith is manufactured in a concrete plant, and can be applied directly on the base course in a variety of thicknesses.
