Colas acquires Asfalcura in Chile

Colas has signed a memorandum of understanding for the acquisition of Asfalcura in Chile.

Asfalcura is a company specialized in road construction, in particular asphalt mix production and application.

With 23.8 million euros in revenue for 2018, Asfalcura operates across Chile and employs 200 people.

Asfalcura also holds a 33.33% stake in Oil Malal, a company specializing in the import, processing and distribution of bituminous products.

This acquisition is part of Colas' development strategy in South America. The Group already has footholds in Chile through Colas Rail and Dust-A-Side.
