A Strategic Mobility Project in Greater Poland

Among Colas Polska’s recent achievements is the renovation of the western section of the Poznań ring road, located on Expressway S11, between the Tarnowo Podgórne and Poznań Zachód (West) highway interchanges.
This corridor is a critical regional connector, easing transport flows around the Poznań metropolitan area and improving traffic between northern and southern Poland.
A Fast-Paced Construction Timeline
The contract was signed on May 30, 2025, with an ambitious completion deadline of 120 days.
Preliminary road connection works began on June 13, followed by the start of main construction works on July 1.
Extensive Technical Work
The project included:
- Installation of 275,000 m² of new asphalt pavement
- Repair of expansion joints on bridges
- Curb sealing
- Application of thermoplastic road markings to enhance safety

This project held particular significance for Colas Polska, whose headquarters and HAMP (production and logistics center) are located just 3 km from the S11 interchange.
Proximity allowed teams to monitor daily progress, respond swiftly to unforeseen events, and showcase their expertise on a major regional infrastructure.
