As part of the Colas Team Cup, an internal sports and artistic competition, employees of the Colas Group took on three collective challenges across all the Group’s geographic regions via the Strava app, in support of partner associations committed to education and the professional integration of young people.
Each year, the Colas Team Cup brings together teams from across the Colas Group, representing every continent, around three flagship disciplines: five-a-side soccer, running, and Incredible Talents (a category encompassing performing arts, visual arts, as well as any humanitarian, creative, technological, or cultural project).
The 2025–2026 edition, in partnership with the Colas Foundation, marks its return with renewed ambition: making sport a driver of solidarity. For each competition registration, €5 was donated to SOS Children’s Villages Croatia, raising a total of €22,635.
The association, a partner of the event, supports 240 children and young people deprived of parental care or family support in the SOS Children’s Villages of Lekenik and Ladimirevci, as well as in the SOS Youth Communities located in Zagreb, Velika Gorica, and Osijek.
Beyond the donations generated through registration fees, employees also mobilized to take on collective challenges supporting the social and professional integration of young people — a priority focus of the Colas Foundation.
Apprentis d’Auteuil & Graines de Bitume: Supporting Vulnerable Youth in Madagascar
The first solidarity challenge of the Colas Team Cup supported the “Sambo Be” project led by the Apprentis d’Auteuil Foundation, in partnership with the Graines de Bitume association in Madagascar.
This initiative promotes the integration of highly vulnerable young people through tailored training programs and internships. Driven by this cause, Colas Group teams reached the collective target of 30,000 kilometers covered, unlocking a €10,000 donation and opening up new opportunities for these young beneficiaries in Madagascar.
Enfants du Mékong: Supporting Education and Training for Children in Laos
For the 2025 edition of the Colas Team Cup, employees also mobilized in support of Enfants du Mékong, an association committed since 1958 to the schooling and training of underprivileged children in Southeast Asia and a partner of the Colas Foundation since 2024. Participants burned 500,000 calories, enabling €7,000 in funding for a sewing training program for young women in Vientiane, Laos.
PLAY International: Strengthening Social Cohesion Through Sport in France
For the third and final solidarity challenge of the Colas Team Cup, teams accumulated more than 1,500 hours of sporting activity to support the association PLAY International and its “Living Together” program.
Launched in 2016, this initiative aims to strengthen social cohesion, prevent violence, and promote equality among children and adolescents through sport. The program is based on “PLAYdagogy,” a method that combines sport and education to raise young people’s awareness of values such as respect, sharing, and inclusion.
Three Challenges, One Shared Goal: Making Sport a Driver of Positive Impact
More than a sporting event, the 2025 Colas Team Cup embodies collective commitment, solidarity, and the ability to take concrete action for meaningful projects. For Delphine Lombard, Secretary General of the Colas Foundation, “The Colas Team Cup, a moment of competition and team spirit, is also a tremendous opportunity to transform our collective energy into positive impact. Thanks to the solidarity challenges supported by our Foundation, each participant helps give even greater meaning to the event and to support the causes that bring us together.”
