On June 27, the Board of Directors of Colas Foundation met to confirm the renewal of its activities for another three years and approved its 2026–2028 action plan.
Colas Foundation continues its mission: promoting equal opportunity for all and supporting urban art as a catalyst for social connection in cities.
Connecting people, promoting cultural exchange and economic life in local communities, giving everyone the means to move forward… Colas carries these aspirations in its DNA, because transport infrastructure weaves and strengthens ties between populations.
Colas also holds a strong belief: pooling talents and resources in all their diversity is a source of progress and new ideas. This is why the Colas Foundation contributes to equal opportunities for all and supports urban art, a creator of social connection in cities.
Promoting the Social ans Professional Integration of Young People
Wherever the Group operates, Colas Foundation supports and accompanies initiatives that foster the social and professional integration of children and young people through education, training, and access to employment up to age 30, as well as through economic activity, sports, and culture. The Foundation relies on the Group's local presence to support meaningful projects adapted to territorial realities. Its ambition: to mobilize Colas employees to take concrete action as close as possible to the needs of associations and local communities.
In practical terms, Colas Foundation has established four major partnerships.
In France :
- with Rêv’Elles to support the empowerment of young girls from underprivileged neighborhoods;
- with Fondation Apprentis d’Auteuil to strengthen youth integration through apprenticeships.
Internationally:
- with Children of the Mekong, to support career guidance and vocational training for young people in Vietnam, the Philippines, and Thailand;
- with IECD, to support the orientation and vocational training of young people in Morocco and Egypt.
Supporting Urban Art
After 30 years of work in the field of contemporary art, Colas Foundation is now running an urban art program on Colas’ industrial sites.
Artists are invited to create monumental works on the Group’s production sites or operating units. These artistic projects, visible to the communities living near these sites, help give a new face to the surrounding area, with talented creators who foster connection.
