The Colas Group at the Exhibition for French Mayors and Local Authorities from November 23 – 25, 2010
During the Exhibition for French Mayors and Local Authorities held at the Paris Parc des Expositions from November 23 to 25, 2010, the Group will present its most innovative products, processes and road equipment in the field of responsible development.
-----
Paris' Parc des Expositions at the Porte de Versailles
Hall 2/2 Booth E 20 (Colas) - D 38 (Screg) - C 26 (Sacer)
Hall 3 Booth C26 (Aximum)
Three flagship products will be highlighted by the Group's Road specialists:
- - Vegeclair® binder (developed by Colas): an essentially plant-based binder that is carbon negative and translucent, which helps underscore the natural color of aggregates. It is the perfect match for architectural projects involving sidewalks, squares, driveways, pedestrian lanes, public spaces, etc;
- - Ecoflex® and Ecolastic® (Screg): warm mix that can be manufactured and applied at low temperatures and can bear all types of traffic. It is particularly energy-efficient and environmentally-friendly as it helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions;
- - Sacerville® (Sacer): an energy-efficient, 100% recyclable asphalt mix designed for durable, easy-maintenance wearing courses on urban road networks. In addition, the mix is applied in a single course, which helps speed up refurbishment projects and reduces nuisance for neighboring residents.
In the field of road safety and signaling, Aximum will present the traffic light Aluxe, the traffic light controller M@estro, a range of waterborne road paints called Vegemark® and, lastly, Signoflex®, a solar-powered traffic sign that springs back to its original shape.
Recycold V (Screg), an innovative cold asphalt mix recycling process has won the Innovation Award, which will be presented on Tuesday November 23 at 11:30 am in the ‘Village Territorial', Hall 2/1.
