"Anticipating the need to optimize procurement"

Your job

You are in charge of finding, selecting and negotiating the price of materials, products and services required by the production units and support services in your area (procurement families, subsidiaries, profit centers), based on volume targets, costs, quality and compliance with responsible development commitment, as determined by the Corporate Procurement Department. You identify the needs of internal customers using existing framework contracts, and launch bids with suppliers to negotiate on products or services not covered by framework contracts. You look for new players in upstream markets to develop medium-term partnerships, negotiate framework contracts (products and suppliers referencing) and take part in cross-disciplinary projects as part of Group Procurement.

Your profile

Degrees in Engineering / Masters in Procurement, with a first internship experience in  construction, industries or energy.

Your integration

During the first year, you will be mentored by an experienced procurement officer to assist you in learning the job will also be required to go out into the field to familiarize yourself with the operational end of the business. During the first year, you will be given specific training on  technical and managerial fundamentals. You will participate in welcoming programs at  subsidiary and Group levels and you attend your first Colas University within 18 months.

Your career development

After a successful first experience, you may diversify or expand your procurement portfolio  and  participate in cross-functional projects at subsidiary / Group level.

In the long term, a move towards a position of Purchasing Manager or Head of Procurement project is feasible. 

Gateways to the Management and Commercial sectors are also possible. 

Development opportunities can be packaged in a geographic mobility.
