To compete

Two main principles serve as the cornerstones of the Colas Foundation’s acquisition policy: orders on a commission basis only and an imposed subject, Roads. These are designed to create a strict framework in which the artists can express themselves. Other conditions must also be respected regarding the support (type and size) and the medium used.

Artists are selected each year, generally in October. If you would like to apply, please send an application file including a brief letter of intention, a résumé, a book in paper form (A4 format – 20 works minimum), catalogues, etc. to the following address:
