One customer and three eco-friendly initiatives

The Screg IDF/N agency in Montlhéry, France was able to propose three eco-friendly technical alternatives to meet the sustainable development and environmental quality requirements of its customer, which was building a shopping center at Leuville-sur-Orge, France.
| For this contract Screg used 3 techniques: - 1,000 tons of low-temperature, energy-efficient ECOFLEX mix
- 100 tons of COMPOGREEN mix, which uses a plant-based binder
- 100 tons of SCINTIFLEX mix containing almost 24 tons of crushed mirror glass.
In comparison with conventional paving materials these solutions reduce greenhouse gas emissions by almost 36%, which is equivalent to the emissions produced by 4,400 passenger vehicles in one day. | |
