The Colas Group at the Exhibition for French Mayors and Local Authorities from November 22-24, 2011
During the exhibition for French Mayors and Local Authorities held at the Paris Parc des Expositions de la Porte de Versailles from November 22-24, 2011, the Colas Group will present its most innovative products, processes and road equipment in the field of responsible development.
Three flagship products will be highlighted by the Group's Road specialists:
- Valorcol® is cold mix composed of up to 100% reclaimed asphalt pavement or RAP, also available as Valorcol®RVcontaining a special plant-based bio-regenerating emulsion. Valorcol® saves a remarkable amount of energy and greenhouse gas emissions compared to conventional hot mix, because it is emulsion-treated, conserves resources and binder by recycling materials, and decrease transport distances thanks to the close proximity of the production plant;
- Microville® HP, a process developed by the Screg network, is designed to provide a long lasting high performance noise-reducing surfacing. Expanded polymer is added to prevent clogging in the air void network that enables the noise to be dissipated. With Microville® HP, noise is immediately reduced by 9 dB (A), excellent performance that is designed to last;
- Sacerlift®, a silicon-based maintenance and renovation technique presented by the Sacer network, has been designed to refurbish and preserve surfaces such as building stones, concrete, paving stones, bricks, etc. It is particularly well suited for urban development projects including city squares, downtown buildings, shopping areas, where natural materials are often used to highlight and conserve existing structures.
In the field of road safety and signaling, Aximum will present a series of products designed to provide greater safety on road networks, such as D'Limit 750©, an eco-designed lane separator, Captor©, an automatic control system that just won a nationwide contract for railway crossings, and Mélissa©, an electric marking machine.
Sacerlift®, a renovation and maintenance process (Sacer network), has won the Innovation Award, which will be presented on Tuesday, November 22 at 6:00 pm in Hall 3
