Colas: acquisition in Croatia

On June 8, 2007, Colas SA signed an agreement to acquire 70% of the capital of Cesta Varaždin, on precedent conditions, including in particular approval by the merger control authority(ies).  Cesta Varaždin is a company with roughly 70 million euros posted in road construction and the manufacture/sales of aggregates.

Cesta Varaždin will benefit from Colas’ technical and financial support to continue to develop throughout Croatia and neighboring countries.  This acquisition is in line with Colas’ development strategy in central Europe, where
Group revenue totals roughly 1 billion euros.
