The CST has a permanent staff of about eighty, fifty of whom are directly involved in the design and implementation of test programmes. They are spread between 8 units, each managed by experienced technical executive.
These units have been created to reflect the Colas Group’s development strategy, i.e.:
With regard to human resources, the aim is to increase the versatility of R&D engineers and technicians. Each of them performs, from start to finish, the test programme they are in charge of and which they have helped to develop. This includes the conduct of tests and the drafting of reports. Reports not only inform the client of the test results but also interpret them and give an opinion and advice in relation to the client’s objectives.
